Biographies

Edward W. Tamson photoEdward W. Tamson, Ph.D. 
Co-founder

Dr. Tamson founded Performance Dimensions International (PDi) in 1983. He has provided consulting services and survey solutions for a variety of organizations, including: Technology, Engineering, Manufacturing, Healthcare, Retail, Financial, Hospitality, and the public sector. His expertise in linking valid and reliable measurements, surveys and assessments (quantitative data) with highly effective individual, team and overall organizational performance improvements (qualitative processes) has resulted in the design and implementation of innovative and highly productive: PDi Customer Loyalty Programs, PDi Employee Engagement Programs, PDi Team Effectiveness Programs, PDi Solution Action Teams and a diversity of PDi Leadership 360° Feedback and Coaching Programs. His firm merged with Survey Insights in 2001 to form Performance Dimensions, International, LLC. (PDi)

Ed earned his Doctoral Degree at the University of California specializing Organizational Psychology (Honors Scholar). He earned his Masters Degree at California State University (Honors), and his Bachelor Degree at the University of California (Honors).

He is a member of the Society for Industrial & Organizational Psychology, the American Society for Training and Development, Applied Psychology Association (Leadership Coaching). He is an active contributor and supporter of a number of nonprofit environmental groups and volunteer associations and foundations.


Rob Page photoRobert A. Page, Jr. Ph.D.
Co-founder

Dr. Page has worked in the consulting field since 1989. He served as Director of Survey Research and Development for the Corporate Pulse Survey Center of the Praxis Institute, where he developed and validated standardized surveys and benchmarks to support major training product lines. In 1998 he founded his own firm, Survey Insights, to specialize in survey research driven consulting interventions, survey validation, and benchmarking. Survey Insights merged with Tamson and Associates in 2001 to form Performance Dimensions, International, LLC.

Rob earned his Doctorate of Administration, specializing in Organizational Theory, from the Graduate School of Management at the University of California in Irvine, his Master of Organizational Behavior at Brigham Young University, and his Bachelor of Science in Industrial and Labor Relations at Cornell University.

Rob is a member of the National and Eastern Academies of Management, the Society for the Advancement of Management, the Institute for Behavioral and Applied Management, and the New England Business Administration Association.

Economist-Cost Benefit Analysis

Dr. Parsons has been an international consultant since 1983. He has provided economic based consulting services for a variety of public and private organizations. His economic expertise has helped clients successfully meet the demands of changing market conditions including: cost analysis for profitability projections, pricing competition research, assessments of competitive vulnerability, financial impact of technology advancements, and the practical application of economic cost benefit processes to improve both profitability and long term customer loyalty.

Steve earned his Doctoral degree in Economics from the University of California in 1982, and his undergraduate degree at the University of Oregon in 1977.


Rob Page photoWilliam H. Bleuel, Ph.D.
Executive Consultant
Customer Loyalty

Dr. Bleuel specializes in the measurement and analysis of customer satisfaction, loyalty and retention. He has held senior positions in engineering, marketing and service management at Xerox, Taylor Instrument Company and Barber Colman Company, as well as co-founding two start-up companies. His most recent book, After the Sale was published in 2000.

Bill received a PhD in Industrial Engineering from Texas A&M, a MS in Statistics from the University of Rochester, and a BSEE from Carnegie Mellon University.

He has been the Franz Edelman Award winner for The Institute of Management Sciences, he received the Armitage Medal from the Society of Logistics Engineers, and the Patton Publication Award.

Senior Programmer


Harish specializes in Client Server Applications and Web Development. Projects for clients include developing Acess databases and VBA on Client-Server setups in a variety of business contexts, from warehouse inventory control to customer management to de-bugging software application developement.

Harish is an Electronics Engineer from India and is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at Southern Connecticut State University.

Senior Project Director

Ryan is a versatile senior project director, bringing a wealth of consulting experience in both the public and private sectors to PDi. In the private sector, before becoming an independent consultant, Ryan worked for General Electric as a human resource specialist with the corporate audit staff, and for Nash Engineering as a human resources generalist. In the public sector, Ryan has conducted program assessments for Southern Connecticut State University, and leads strategic planning and implementation teams in not-for-profit organizations.

Ryan earned his Master of Human Resources degree at the University of South Carolina, and his Bachelor of Science degree in Business Management/Organizational Behavior from Brigham Young University.
